From first breaking out on Los Angeles’ Juke Bounce Werk’s ephemeral compilation series JB DUBZ, Mirin Doja has become a mainstay in the Pacific Northwest dance music scene. Her sound draws heavy inspiration from regional club music and UK sound system culture, playing selections ranging from jungle, juke, footwork, drum and bass, to breakbeat and uk garage. Mirin Doja sits in the driver’s seat of TURBO, a club night that serves a rotation of sweaty high-tempo selections at the Kremwerk club complex in Seattle. She has appeared alongside acts such as INVT, Sam Binga Tim Reaper, Kush Jones, and Skream.
